The franchising format is the winning choice

Franchising is surely the winning choice: looking at Hurun Global Rich List 2015 (top 100 entrepreneurs world ranking), almost 20 of them are franchising companies owners. In third place we can find Warren Buffet, who, thanks to his surprising nose for investment, is also known as “Wizard of Omaha”; during his career as investor he has bought a considerable number of  international franchising companies’ shareholdings, such as Coca Cola and McDonald’s.

He is closely followed by some other multinationals companies’ owners, who are successfully  implementing the franchising format in their business;  to mention a few internationally renowned: Amancio Ortega (Inditex, Zara), Larry Ellison (Oracle), Bernard Arnault (Luis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), Alice and Christy Walton (Wal-Mart), Liliane Bettencourt (L’Oreal)  and finally, Gérard Mulliez (Auchan). In forty-third position we can find Leonardo Del Vecchio; the first and the only Italian name that appears in the list, is the founder and the president of a worldwide fame company in franchising named Luxottica.
